Frequently Asked Questions
What unit are the margins in?
Margins are in PDF points (pt). 1 inch = 72 points. So to remove a 1-inch margin, enter 72.
Can I crop all pages at once?
Yes. The margin settings apply to all pages in the PDF simultaneously.
Will cropping affect the actual content?
Cropping sets the visible area (crop box) of the PDF. Content outside the crop box is hidden but technically still present in the file.
What if I enter margins that are too large?
If margins exceed the page size, the cropped area may become very small or empty. Use reasonable values based on your page dimensions.
